As a California native, Dr. Farnell began her veterinary journey in early life with animal rescue, and volunteerism. She graduated with distinction from Purdue Veterinary School in 1998. From her early years working in animal hospitals as receptionist, kennel assistant and technical assistant, to later years as associate veterinarian and medical director, her veterinary experiences have led her through numerous veterinary environments throughout the US and abroad. She has been practicing general veterinary medicine in southern Marin since 2008 and after traveling the world is happy to say she has found her forever home here. She is passionate about helping pet parents navigate the myriad choices available in today’s veterinary environment and find the path that best suits their values. In her off time she enjoys travel, anything outdoors, cooking and sharing all of the above with family and friends.
