With 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine and a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine, Dr. Rubin brings a thoughtful, well-rounded approach to caring for pets. She has special interests in primary care and surgery and spent much of her career at Pets in Need, a nonprofit shelter and community clinic, where she eventually served as Medical Director. After exploring opportunities at several Bay Area hospitals over the past year, she’s excited to have found her home at Mill Valley Pet Clinic!

Dr. Rubin believes that educating pet owners is an essential part of veterinary care. She enjoys helping clients better understand their pets’ health and empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions and provide the best possible care at home.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Rubin loves getting outside with her dog, Bridget. Whether they’re hitting the trails or heading out for a weekend adventure, they’re always ready to explore the great outdoors together!
