Jessica Hunter, DVM

Dr. Jessica Hunter grew up in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by animals of all kinds. Dr. Hunter grew up with a menagerie of pets including dogs, cats, a pony, fish, tadpoles, snakes, newts, rats, guinea pigs, even a skunk. Because of this affection for all types of animals, Dr. Hunter says, "The general opinion in the household was that being a veterinarian was about the most noble profession one could aspire to."
Dr. Hunter earned a bachelor of science in geology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1998. Prior to attending veterinary school, she worked at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists and at Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty Center in Tucson.
